The Department of Health Palm Beach County collects data from several sites around the county including Belle Glade. Our data is available on Florida’s Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) web site and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) web site. The AQI values for Palm Beach County’s data can be found in these links.

Please note that all Department of Health Palm Beach County sites are vetted and approved to meet EPA’s criteria to achieve the overall objective of the Clean Air Act.  Each site is assessed regularly each year to ensure that they meet the requirements. The Florida Network Plan gives a broad overview of the Florida air monitoring network.

The Florida Department of Health in Palm Beach County's air program has been in operation for over 25 years. The challenge facing air quality for the new millennium will be met by continuing working partnerships with government officials, and with business, community, and citizen groups.
