Dental Training Programs

Florida Department of Health in Palm Beach County

Public Health Residency

The Preventive Medicine Residency Program is designed to train physicians for public health practice and for Board Certification in the specialty of Preventive Medicine/Public Health. The resident’s rotation through the Dental Program provides them with a comprehensive overview of dental health.

Palm Beach State College Dental Hygiene Externship

This program provides the opportunity for second year dental hygiene students from Palm Beach State College to gain practical work experience in the dental facilities.

Nova Southeastern University Veteran's Administration Externship

Fourth year dental students serve as volunteers and rotate through one of our dental clinics to gain practical work experience. One of our dentists serves as a mentor and associate professor for this program.

University of Miami Miller School of Medicine MD/MPH Program Field Experience

Fourth year medical students rotate through our Mobile Dental Sealant Program on board our Tooth Fairy motor coach. This serves as field experience on how a preventive oral health program operates to improve the dental health of elementary school students.
