Birth certificates will be available to purchase at our Palm County Tax Collector’s offices.

Birth certificates are available for persons born in the state of Florida for the years 1919 through the present.

If you were born before 1930 you must apply through the State Office of Vital Statistics at:

Birth certificates are confidential and can only be issued to the registrant, if of legal age (18), parent, guardian or legal representative or upon court order. Birth certificates become public record after 100 years following the birth.

The fee for one certified birth certificate is $15

Instructions

To order a birth certificate, download the application form and complete all information about the person making the request:

  • Application Form

  • Full name

  • Relationship to the person named on the record

  • Mailing address

  • Photocopy of ID

  • Telephone number where you can be reached during our office hours

You may order a certified copy of a birth, death or marriage record online using your credit card through our only approved internet ordering service VitalChek Network, Inc. ® or phone 1-800-364-8380

Send a check or money order made payable to:
