The Florida Department of Health in Palm Beach County became aware of elevated concentrations of cylindrospermopsin, a cyanotoxin produced by cyanobacteria (blue-green algae) in the drinking water produced from the City of West Palm Beach water treatment plant that is sourced by Clear Lake.
Residents with questions can call the city of west palm beach’s hotline at (561) 822-2222 (TTY 800-955-8771). Future updates will be shared on the city’s website, www.wpb.org

Locations for water distribution to vulnerable populations affected by the Water Advisory in West Palm Beach, and Towns of Palm Beach, and South Palm Beach:
On Sunday, 5/30/21, impacted residents may get water at Gaines Park and Phipps Park, (10 am–1 pm), and Coleman Park(11 am–2 pm).
