Advisories Issued for Seven Beach Locations

Palm Beach County, Fla. — The Florida Department of Health in Palm Beach (DOH-Palm Beach) has issued water quality advisories for the following locations:

Carlin Park in Jupiter, Florida
Riviera Beach in Riviera Beach, FL
Phil Foster Park in Riviera Beach, FL
Lake Worth – Kreusler in Lake Worth, FL
Ocean Inlet Park in Ocean Ridge, FL
Sandoway-Delray Beach in Delray Beach, FL
Spanish River in Boca Raton, FL

Tests completed on Monday, March 25, 2024, indicate that the water quality at these locations do not meet the recreational water quality criteria for Enterococcus bacteria recommended by the Florida Department of Health.

DOH-Palm Beach advises against any water-related activities at these locations due to an increased risk of illness in swimmers. Sampling conducted during regular water quality monitoring showed that the level of bacteria exceeds the level established by state guidelines.

These advisories will continue until bacteria levels are below the accepted health level. Test results are available at FloridaHealth.gov/HealthyBeaches.
