Palm Beach County, Fla. — The Florida Department of Health in Palm Beach (DOH-Palm Beach) has issued water quality advisories for Jupiter Beach Park in Jupiter, Florida, and Carlin Park in Jupiter, Florida.
The advisory issued for Dubois Park from Wednesday March 6th, 2024, is lifted.
Tests completed on Monday, March 11, 2024, indicate that the water quality at Jupiter Beach Park and Carlin Park do not meet the recreational water quality criteria for Enterococcus bacteria recommended by the Florida Department of Health.
DOH-Palm Beach advises against any water-related activities at these locations due to an increased risk of illness in swimmers. Sampling conducted during regular water quality monitoring showed that the level of bacteria exceeds the level established by state guidelines.
These advisories will continue until bacteria levels are below the accepted health level. Test results are available at FloridaHealth.gov/HealthyBeaches.
