Palm Beach County, Fla. — The Florida Department of Health in Palm Beach County (DOH-Palm Beach) has lifted the health advisory for the Rivera Beach, FL surface water body listed below:
Recent coordinated laboratory testing with the City of Riviera Beach and the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) has concluded that the water in these areas meets surface water quality standards for fecal-indicator bacteria. The public may resume water-related activities.
The original public health alert was issued on Wednesday, August 6, 2024, for the water body listed above due to a wastewater incident near 1201 Yacht Harbor Drive on Singer Island in Riviera Beach, FL.
