Palm Beach, Fla. —The Florida Department of Health in Palm Beach County (DOH-Palm Beach) is lifting the advisory for Lake Worth Drainage District connected to the E-3 Canal south of Potomac Road.
Recent coordinated laboratory testing with the Boca Raton and the Florida Department of Environmental Protection indicates the water quality at Lake Worth Drainage District connected to the E-3 Canal south of Potomac Road shows an acceptable level of bacteria for the public to resume water-related activities.
The original advisory was issued on October 28, 2025 due to a wastewater spill.
