Foreign Travel Consultation Services
Immunizations for foreign travel are by appointment only at the Lantana / Lake Worth Health Center at The Florida Department of Health in Palm Beach County. Appointments are available on select days and times. Please call our Call Center at 561-625-5180 to schedule an appointment. The cost includes: a consultation fee, vaccine fee(s) and an administration fee per vaccine. Appointments are limited, we recommend scheduling as soon as possible and at least 2 weeks before travel departure. Clients should arrive 30 minutes prior to their scheduled appointment to complete our registration process.
Once you have scheduled your foreign travel appointment, please be aware of the following:
There is a consultation fee per appointment.
Vaccine costs will vary.
We accept cash, check or credit card as payment for services.
Appointments will range from 30 to 90 minutes or more depending on the number of people in your party and the destination to which you are traveling.
We reserve the right to reschedule any client more than 15 minutes late for their appointment.
Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Kindly call the Call Center at 561-625-5180 if you need to cancel your appointment so we may serve other clients.
Helpful items to bring to your appointment:
A copy of your itinerary containing a list of the areas you will be traveling and estimated time of stay per area.
In order to provide the most expeditious and cost-effective service, please try to bring your immunization records to the appointment. Previous immunization records can be obtained from your parents, high school and/or college, or health care provider. If you are unable to obtain prior immunization records, per your request we will provide all applicable vaccinations required for the country you are traveling to.
