Clinical and Nutrition Services

Florida Department of Health in Palm Beach County

The Division of Clinical Health Services plans and coordinates primary and preventive managed health care services at our Centers for residents of Palm Beach County who meet eligibility requirements. Services are provided by a caring professional team of medical providers including physician, physician assistants, advanced registered nurse practitioners, nurses, dentist nutritionists, health educators, psychologists, social workers and health support staff.

Health Access Division

  • Family Planning - Post-partum check-ups, pregnancy testing, variety of birth control methods, mammogram referral, HIV/STD screening, teen clinic. Eligibility requirements.

  • Maternity - Prenatal risk assessment, maternity check-ups with delivery referral to local hospital, maternity education and counseling, laboratory testing, prenatal health insurance and assistance (SOBRA/PEPW), centering programs, gynecological services. Eligibility requirements.

  • HIV/AIDS/STD/TB - Comprehensive testing and treatment of communicable diseases like Tuberculosis, Sexually Transmitted Diseases, AIDS, and Hepatitis C.

  • Overseas Immunizations - Comprehensive evaluation and administration of vaccines required and/or recommended for foreign travel. Adult Immunizations Lantana Health Center only. Please call 561-547-6800 or 561-625-5180.

  • Immunizations for Children - Immunizations for children from birth to 18 years of age to meet “Shots by Two”, Pre-school, and Kindergarten through grade 12 requirements.
