501 Class Schedule

The HIV/AIDS 500 and 501 class is now ONLINE!

You must complete both the 500 and the 501 online prior to attending the in-classroom portion of the 501 (Day 2).

The HIV/AIDS 500 is the prerequisite to the HIV/AIDS 501 class that is required prior to offering publicly funded HIV testing services in Florida. The 500 course can be found by searching for FDOH HIV/AIDS 500 in TRAIN. Non-DOH staff must create their own account before attempting to access the course.

The 500 course is a blended learning series of 7 sections including a Learner’s Guide and an Introduction. Sections 1 through 5 are followed by a short quiz. Participants must complete each quiz in order, and with a minimum score of 80% before completing the course. Each section is also followed by an evaluation. Upon completion of the 500 course, a certificate of completion will be issued.

The 501 course can be found by searching for FDOH HIV/AIDS 501 in TRAIN. The 501 course is also a blended course consisting of 6 sections plus a Learner’s Guide and an Introduction. Sections 1 through 6 are followed by a short quiz. Participants must complete each quiz in order, and with a minimum score of 80% before completing the course. Each section may take 20 – 40 minutes to complete. Each section is also followed by an evaluation. Upon completion of the 501 course, a certificate of completion will be issued.

Your 500 and 501 course certificates can be found in your Dashboard on the TRAIN Home Page. It is recommended that you save these files (they will open as PDF) to your computer.

You must EMAIL your HIV/AIDS 500 and 501 class certificates with your registration form.
