Palm Beach, Fla. — The Florida Department of Health in Palm Beach County (DOH-Palm Beach) has issued a water quality advisory for the following locations:

Coral Cove Park
19450 County Highway 707
Tequesta, FL 33469

DuBois Park
19075 Dubois Road
Jupiter, FL 33477

Jupiter Beach Park
1375 Jupiter Key Road
Jupiter, FL 33477

Phil Foster Park
900 E. Blue Heron Blvd.
Riviera Beach, FL 33404

Tests completed on Monday, November 2, indicate that the water quality at Coral Cove Park, DuBois Park, Jupiter Beach Park, and Phil Foster Park does not meet the recreational water quality criteria for Enterococcus bacteria recommended by the Florida Department of Health.

DOH-Palm Beach advises against any water-related activities at these locations due to an increased risk of illness in swimmers. Sampling conducted during regular water quality monitoring showed that the level of bacteria exceeds the level established by state guidelines.

This advisory will continue until bacteria levels are below the accepted health level.
