Palm Beach, Fla. — The Florida Department of Health in Palm Beach County (DOH-Palm Beach) is lifting the advisory for Garden Road connected to the C17 Canal in Riviera Beach.

Recent coordinated laboratory testing with the City of Riviera Beach and the Florida Department of Environmental Protection indicates the water quality at Garden Road connected to the C17 Canal shows an acceptable level of bacteria for the public to resume water-related activities. 

The original advisory was issued on July 7, 2026, due to a wastewater spill.
