To create an innovative understanding of substance use disorder and overdose in Palm Beach County, multiple independent data sources are used. OD2A overdose morbidity and mortality data are collected through partnerships with local hospitals, emergency medical services providers, and the Palm Beach County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Differences in terminology, case definitions, and inclusion/exclusion criteria may occur across data sources. Therefore, comparability across all data products is limited and should be interpreted with caution.
